Marion Dillon County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs accepts applications Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at both the Marion Center, located at 306 Martin Luther King Drive, and at the Dillon Center, located at 1219 Hwy. 34 West. Applications may be picked up from either location or downloaded from the link above. We are currently accepting applications for full-time employment, permanent part-time and temporary employment. *Job Opening for Part-Time Early Interventionist*
Part-Time Early Interventionist– Person who enjoys working with children ages 0-6. Responsible for verification of services, assessment, documentation of all contacts and progress with families and children served. Under Supervision of Early Interventionist Supervisor, ensures that children meet DDSN criteria and assess children in appropriate areas for their age and disabilities.
Minimum Training and Experience: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service related field from a university or college that has been accredited by a regional accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and two years’ experience in Mental Disabilities, Early Childhood Development, or a related field preferred or education and experience deemed necessary for successful operation of program. Prefers Master’s Degree in Child Development and experience with Infant Development. Drug Screening, SLED/FBI Record Check and Child Abuse and Neglect Registry Check, and Valid Driver’s License Required.
Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
25 hours per week
